Nestled on the banks of the Mighty Murray River, Swan Hill is a stylish and friendly town offering visitors a warm climate with an abundance of attractions and activities, both historic and new.

Discover a rich colonial past at the Pioneer Settlement located near town, a superbly recreated living outdoor museum featuring an entire main street with a collection of blacksmiths, horse drawn carriages, vintage cars, paddlewheel steamers, damper making, restored old cars trucks and tractors. At dusk experience a spectacular light show illuminating the village for the 'sound & light tour' – a 45 minute journey where you are transported past the Settlements attractions, concluding with a ghostly emergence from the night of the mighty Paddle steamer 'Gem' .

  • Lake Boga, a popular spot for swimming, fishing, picnicking and sailing
